A group of 30 participants successfully completed the course that focuses on the post-conflict state. In 2009 TNU facilitated four online courses for InWEnt: 'Consultancy as a Professional Option', 'Implementing Gender Mainstreaming in Management Processes', 'Knowledge Management', and 'Results Oriented Monitoring'. Together with Ecosan Services India we developed a new e-learning course on ecological sanitation: - Capacity Building for Ecological Sanitation. After a succesful campaign 88 days last year, Mamacash launched her new campaign. Please visit the campaign website to read more about the campaign and its results. In the meantime we also developed a new website for the regular Mamacash website. During the National Water Conference organised by the Indian Waterworks Association in Mumbai, TNU offered two workshops to promote a training module on Ecological Sanitation in a public/private setting. The module was developed in cooperation with Ecosan Services Foundation and five Indian partners. TNU developed two courses for InWEnt's (Capacity Building International, Germany) online learning environment 'Global Campus 21': 'Gender Mainstreaming' and 'Conflict Management'. The latter was also developed in Spanish. For more information about these courses, please send us an email. Our Summer School on Conflict Transformation was a great success! The Summer School, consisting of three award-winning online courses, attracted more than 75 participants, from over 25 different countries. ID21 mentioned The Biotechnology and Development Monitor website as one of the main websites publishing on biotech in an issue of Insights magazine on development research, debating GM crops. ![]() TNU has developed a tool that invites users to explore both sides of a conflict. We call this tool 'SplitScreen'. The tool was piloted by a group of Dutch Arab and Isreali youth. The results of the pilot can be viewed here. Note you will need flashplayer to view this file. The Network University, UNOY Peacebuilders and other partners, organised the Youth Transforming Conflict online training course for the first time, which aims to empower youth leaders to deal responsibly with conflicts in their environment and to transform them.
